Walking the Amalfi Coast: Ravello to Amalfi

Today’s adventure started in the village of Ravello, a 40 minute drive from the hotel. On arrival we were greeted by the local band!

The morning was spent exploring Ravello. I decided to visit the amazing Villa Cimbrone.

Time to taste the local specialty made from the abundant local produce, lemon.

At 12.30 the group assembled for the walk to Amalfi.

The route down to the coast consisted of steps and stone paths.

Stunning views of the bay below around each corner.

Once at sea level the wall passed through an amazing network of alleyways from the village of Atrani to Amalfi.

Finally we reached bustling Amalfi

Fortunately a bus ride back to the hotel had been organised.

A quick freshen up then a cooking demonstration before dinner.

A couple of glasses of wine to wash the fish down then time for bed!
