Doc Strines Explores

Very blustery first thing this morning, fortunately just within the limits for docking.

Dashed to the buffet for breakfast before disembarking at 7.30 for today’s excursion.

Lovely early morning drive through Tuscany to the Cinque Terre.

First stop Portovenere.

Unfortunately due to choppy seas the ferry wasn’t running so we boarded the train to the second village., Monterosso where I enjoyed an ice cream and a paddle in the sea and a beer.

Back on the coach to Livorno. Back on board time for a quick freshen up before dinner.

Then showtime … Badness. Kevin would have loved this tribute act.

Next a great Yorkshire comedienne Jo Little.

Had intended to then retire to my cabin but there is smoke on my deck so have to be evacuated to deck 18.

It’s a bit like the Titanic that everything just continues!

Then all is fine and we can return to our cabins.
