Walking the Amalfi Coast: Monte tre Calli

Route from Bomerano
Monte Tre Calli

The walk started in the village of Bomerano, where I am staying. Passing through the village the climb began, initially on tarmac paths then limestone steps. At the top we found a tap to top up the water bottles.

The next section meandered uphill through a forest path.

The path became more challenging as it became increasingly steep.

The views from the summit were well worth the effort.

The weather started to turn with a sea mist approaching the summit so time to head back down. The first stage was loose rock but soon opened up onto a rocky path.

Once back in Bomerano, time for lunch in a local bar.

Lunch: piedini Bomerano

Back to the hotel to freshen up then back out for a cheese making demonstration.

Then time to taste the local cheese and ricotta.

Back to the hotel for dinner!

Another busy day
