Quiet early morning drive to Manchester Airport for the 9.15 flight to Cork.

Short flight to Cork.

Bus transfer stops outside the terminal. Decided to take the bus to Kinsale.

About 35 minutes to Kinsale for €4.50. TFI app was useful for purchasing tickets and viewing the timetable.
Kinsale is a small coastal town renowned for its colourful buildings.

The town has a small museum in a former courthouse which is split into two sections: a small exhibition about The Lusitania; and a small reconstruction of the old market.

As the weather was mild I followed the Scilly Route, a walk around the bay to a delightful pub. A welcoming stop for lunch, fish and chips.

Back in Kinsale I jumped on the bus to Cork. Buses run every 30 minutes.

Cork was buzzing with ‘Corkmas’.

After a busy day I caught the bus from the town hall back to the airport. Only €1.50.
Back at the airport time for a beverage whilst awaiting the flight home.
Flight departed early and 50 minutes later back in Manchester.
Busy day out!
