Embarkation Day
A day of food and drinks!!!
After an excellent night’s sleep I started day2 with a super breakfast at The Carnarvan Arms, salmon royale.
An hour later I was at the quayside in Southampton to drop off the car and luggage. As I my embarkation time was not until 2 I wandered into Southampton. Sadly Southampton appears rather run down and dismal. My highlight was a hazelnut hot chocolate.
Back at the docks at 1.30 I boarded Iona and nipped up to the buffet on deck 16 for a bit of lunch.
My cabin was ready and luggage arrived by the time I had finished lunch. Lovely cabin on deck 15.
A mild evening in Southampton, so a busy sail away event on the open bar at the back of deck 16.
Solo meet up in Anderson’s followed by dinner in the Pearl Restaurant
The on to Brodies for a quiz.
